About me
My name is Katie. I live on 5 acres outside of town. My life is all about Jesus, my family, and my dogs. I've grown up and been around dogs my entire life. I have always loved caring for them and traning them and taking them with me everywhere I possibly could. Growing up, I always had a dog with me. I'd take them with me to softball games, to school, town, riding horses, anywhere that I could. I always had some kind of herding dog. Usually a heeler, or aussie. I didn't have a border collie, until my daughter talked me into getting Red. And honestly, I wasn't too sure about it. When I thought of a border collie, I thought - hyper. Energetic. Destructive. What we did not need. At the time she got Red, she was only 10 and I was thinking he'd be too much dog for a child. Buuuuuuut, Jozie kept on and kept on, so I reached out to the lady who had him in Arkansas. She informed me that not all border collies are the same. Alot of it depends on their registry, their bloodline, and also how they are raised. She said that Red was one of the most behaved and lazy dogs she'd ever had. And, she was right. After getting him here, he made me fall in love with the breed. Then i began searching for me a female. I specifically wanted a blue with minimal white, and I searched and searched and finally found my Nova girl. At the beginning of my breeding journey, I asked God to help me and I told him I would give Him all the glory. So, if you're still reading - God has His hand in my program and He made all of this possible for me. I truly believe He has led me to the most amazing dogs, and also the most amazing people.
